How many hours per week should your child take classes?
While each student's development depends on their physical fitness and overall interest in the form, parents can follow this general rule of thumb to determine the number of dance technique and conditioning hours needed weekly:
Recreational: Students 7+ participate 1-3 hours per week
Intermediate: Students 7+ participate 4-8 hours per week
Advanced: Students 7+ participate 9-12 hours per week
Pre-professional students require consultation and should speak to their teacher regarding next steps.
